I agree I think the use of psychedelic drugs to treat mental illness would be fun and interesting. You could narrow it done by taking a side either for or against. The origin of new diseases idea, although very fascinating, would be much more difficult to elaborate on into a 15 page paper. The cloning topic has really been exhausted (I think the teacher commented that we should stay away from those) but if not, there is certainly many questions to be answered and an abundance of research material to expand on.
