I have been using the auraria library website to first find the sources that are necessary for my research. I then either go on the website or to the library to follow up on the source and evaluate if this is the type of information that I am looking for. If the sources didn't meet my standards, I go back to the auraria library website and search for different key words. So far in my research, the easiest sources to find are website regarding information on legal issues and arguments between which companies are to be believed better. Books are the next source that are frequent in findings, these are usually the source with the most information that I am searching for. The hardest source to pull are journals and other literature, when I do find them, it becomes a struggle to load the source because they have either been deleted or I am not authorized to access it. The journals that I have come acrossed that I can access are filled with information.
I am learning that this issue was bigger than I realized and that there are tons of information out there on this particular topic. I am also learning that sometimes what I am looking for is in the strangest of places and that I should do a short research on the authors because some are not so credible and don't have the authority that they say they might have. My sources have affteced my argument by swaying my opinion. At first, I thought maybe Apple would be the "victim" in most cases because of all the lawsuits they have put on others but it doesn't seem to be always that way. My research has put me in the middle and not sure where or how my opinion will form, but I'm sure it will after all my research and writings.
The problems I have been facing while researching and searching for sources on my topic is that some sources seem to be exactly what I have been looking for, but when I look up information on the author or author's, they don't seem to have any authority that they claim they have. I want my argument to be credible and same with my sources, so I have put them on the back burner until I can find sources that I am happy with. Another obstacle that I am running into is that some on the information isn't very interesting, and I have to dig deeper to get into the good stuff.
You still dont have an argument
