I’m finding my sources by using the internet also I’m
going to the library to find books and outside information. I’m also looking up
at past articles that relate to my topic. I’m also using skyline but I find it
hard to narrow the things down to my main research question due to all the
information that you get from skyline. Next I’m going to talk about the process of
when it comes down to looking up for the information.
The type of sources that I’m having the
easiest time to find is internet websites. I find the internet websites easier
because there is just so much information. But yet it’s hard to classify which
one you can use and can’t use. The type of source that I’m having the hardest time
with are media sources for one reason because I don’t know which one to use or
if they are credible or not.
The things that I’m learning from my
sources are various things. First of all most of the articles that I look say
one thing and one thing only. For example my argument is becoming like a yes
and no debate. I need to somehow explore other ideas that relate to my main
research question but yet manage to stay on my main research question. They are
affecting my argument to a point where it seems that if I fallow and fall for
the yes and no argument, my final paper is not going to be successful.
The
problem that I’m having is that I need help because the way I think my argument
is going to turn out well it’s not going to be a very good argument. The other
problem I’m having is that most of all the information I run into says the same
thing. It’s either yes it does cause an increase in aggressive behavior and
violence or the opposite that it does not and then it explains its reasons.
Also another problem would be what other ideas or issues could I explore in my
main research question in order to make it successful. With that being said I also
have problem looking for things to research to make my argument the less bias
as possible and get a view from both
sides. Another problem would be connecting the main research question to
different issues or ideas that influence or impact my main research question. I
feel that If I could somehow do that my research would not turn out bias and I would
have outside information to support what I say.
